Mark and Leslie are on a roof, installing solar panels for a grid-tied solar system.
In a grid-tied system the solar panels can be installed close to the roof because the tilt of the panels is not as crucial as it is in an off-grid system. In an off-grid system you are living only off the power you make so panel efficiency is vital. In a grid-tied system you can use power from the grid so having a streamline design may be more important that panel efficiency.
