This is a grid-tie photovoltaic system in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The home was being built when we installed the solar system.
The solar panel roof rack is mounted directly to the roof. The ropes you see are used to tie into during the installation.
At the end of the installation it was exciting to see the electric meter running backwards; already the owners were selling electric to the power company.
